What is ESL?
In its simplest definition, ESL (English as a Second Language) is an English learning program designed for students whose native language is not English. The purpose of the ESL program is to help non-native speakers achieve a certain level of fluency in conversational English, grammar, reading, listening, comprehension, writing, and vocabulary.

What is Online ESL?
As opposed to traditional classroom setting consisting of desks and rows, ESL classes with Engage Academy take place online on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone connected to the internet. We conduct classes using our proprietary web-based e-learning platform where teachers and students interact with each other and where the lessons take place.
This allows us to manage schedules and classes conveniently from a single, easy-to-use platform, resulting in greater efficiency.
